Name: Femio

History: Born as the only child of a wealthy pureblood wizarding family residing in southern France, Femio is quite the eccentric character. Largely neglected by his parents (due to the fact that they are important members of the French Ministry of Magic), he was mostly raised by the numerous servants and house elves residing in his sizable mansion. Mistakenly convinced (probably due to their brief periods of contact) that Femio was a genius, his parents ordered the attendants to be indulgent in their place and so they did, constantly pampering him, praising his looks, and complimenting his magical ability…even when said magic ability left much to be desired.

Going so far as to describe him as ‘princely’ and insisting that it was nigh impossible not to love him, as a direct consequence of this constant flattery, Femio developed into a vain, overconfident wizard, severely convinced that his beauty was ‘sinful’. With perfectly coiffed eggplant-colored hair and amethyst eyes framed with heavy lashes, he is lean, effeminate, and possesses a brand of narcissism second to none, often using magic for such frivolous things as causing cascades of rose petals to rain upon him and directing magical beams of light on himself for dramatic effect.

Having attended the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic for most of his schooling, his fifth year at the institution was cut tragically short by a rather unfortunate event. In attempt to impress a particularly ‘shy young maiden’, he caused the school’s entire Quidditch field to bloom full of red roses, an act that was considered quite irritating (and typical) of Femio. However, when they attempted to cut the roses, the blooms merely grew back faster, eventually engulfing the palace to the extent where Beauxbatons had to be evacuated (and the girl in question had to be tended to by mediwizards as, ironically, she was highly allergic to flowers).

More than fed-up with Femio’s constant antics and overdramatic displays, Madame Maxime expelled him from the Academy—to the outrage and chagrin of his parents. Deciding that Beauxbatons couldn’t handle a ‘uniquely talented’ wizard such as Femio anyway and that the Durmstrang Institute had weather that was far too severe for one as ‘delicate’ as their son, he was sent off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to complete his magical education.

Very good at Herbology and decent at Charms, Femio is unfortunately lacking in nearly every other subject, far too blinded by his belief that he is a ‘misunderstood genius’ to notice his own failings. Often going to great lengths to romance and charm any female within a 10 mile radius, he claims that he loves all & is loved by all and is qualified to be a true prince…even while they flee his presence. Convinced that he deserves divine punishment for his beauty to the extent that he often hexes himself to administer it and one has to wonder what Hogwarts has in store for this colorful young wizard...or if it can even handle him at all...
